Shades of Lake - Blue Apartment

Location fabulous. Apartment was very comfortable, clean & well equipped. Highly recommend this apartment. A big thank you to our host who met us & showed us the apartment & local details.

Great spot just a few blocks up from the lake (no view of the lake). A quiet area at night with access to all the shops and restaurants. 10 minute walk from either train station (San Giovanni or Como Lago). 5 minute walk to bus stops and the ferry terminal. Nice, clean apartment w/ kitchen amenities and comfy beds. We were able to check in early; host greeted us even though our train was delayed. Very nice stay in Como - we easily able to take the bus to Bellagio and ferry home.

Giacomo is a fantastic host. Very helpful. The apartment is fabulous, very spacious and well equipped. Really well located, just 2 minutes walk from the town centre, 5 minutes to the lake, yet, quiet at night. Highly recommend Pronobis, the wine bar/lunch restaurant just around the corner.

This property was clean well appointed and most importantly in a great location. Our host met us showed us around and made us feel very welcome. He also gave us a really helpful list of places to eat.

The host was excellent and very accommodating. We had everything we needed and the apartment was spotless. Very central to get around Como with lovely restaurants, coffee shops and bars within walking distance. Also a short walk to train and ferries.

Nothing except we didn’t want to leave.

You need to go up the stairs 2 floors

It’s clean, modern and really well located. It was perfect for us. The host was superb, couldn’t have been more helpful and nothing was too much trouble.

Location is extremely good. Very close to restaurants (literally just a few steps in all directions). Close to a Carrefour supermarket. Close to the main square and ferry station. Very quiet apartment located towards the back end of the building even though it's on a semi-busy road.

There is no lift and the apartment is located on the second floor. Need keys to open door at the entrance of the building, which meant that on checking out we had to bring the keys down to open the front door and then keep the door open with our luggage and run back upstairs to leave keys in the apartment for check out. Not complaints, just observations!
