A treasure of hotel - literally - antiques and Asian treasures abound in a wonderful, almost magical, setting in the heart of old Jakarta near to the main tourist attractions.

Nothing - literally perfect in all aspects from rooms, ambiance, staff, service and cuisine. We have travelled a great deal in SE Asia and I would rank this number 1.

Das Ambiente, es ist ein Museum.

Sehr abseits: Ich würde in Zentrum wohnen und Kota oder Tugu von dort mal besuchen. Für den Zimmerpreis kann man auch in arrivierten 5*Hotels übernachten. Service: Zwar sind die Mitarbeiter sehr freundlich, aber es fehlt ihnen eine Ausbildung, die man bei einer solchen Hotelklasse erwarten muss. Einzelheiten erspare ich mir…. Externe Besucher: Es ist sehr unangenehm, wenn fotografierende Touristen (30) beim Check-in um einen herumstehen, das gleiche passierte beim Abendessen.

It is a wondrous place. Full luxury and yet very personal by the owner who is a collector of antiques and the place is full of it; all connecting to the building. In this wondrous house all the comfort ( best pool EVER) that you seek is there. What a great place for getting over my Kayla’s before exploring more of Java.

It is amazing! I have travelled the world and I feel it’s the most beautifully curated hotel. Staying in old Jakarta it’s exceptional. The art ,the history,the staff are amazing. Walking in to the hotel ,you transverse into another world full of history and beauty. Beds comfy,bathrooms perfectly maintained. In-house tour of the hotel history was inspiring. Oh the massage offered was perfect . And the afternoon tea,wow yummy . Plans for the future to expand the beautiful experience are exciting. I can’t wait to come back Truely a very special sanctuary from the normality of other hotels in Jakarta. Oh and the pool area is serene.
