De Ginkgo in het hart van Hoorn

It was like staying in an elegant historical apartment with furnishings from all over the world. The location was perfect, close enough to the train station, in the centre of town, but quiet bedroom at back of building. Hosts had thought of everything and more - extra touches appreciated!

Not a big deal, but maybe a toaster would be handy (if there was one we never found it), and easier than turning on the oven. As noted by others, bedroom is upstairs and no bathroom ensuite. Tip: Just take your PJs and essentials upstairs and leave the heavy suitcase in the kitchen or living room! That way you only need to carry it up one flight of stairs.

Locatie super, appartement geweldig

Warm en gastvrij welkom. Echt een cadeautje. Daarmee begint een paar dagen weg al als een feest. Netjes, superschoon. Heerlijke Rituals geuren. Lekkere zepen van Rituals in de badkamer. Genoeg handdoeken. Flesje wijn staat klaar in de keuken. Fantastisch!

Ons verblijf was zonder ontbijt. Het wonen in een enorm sfeervol volledig ingericht huis, midden in het centrum.

Wonderful historic apartment, beautifully furnished, fresh flowers and exceptional attention to detail.

Typical of many hotel rooms and apartments, no provision was made for a power socket, good lighting seat and mirror for hair drying, make up and grooming. A small point though in this special apartment!

Die Gastgeber waren super, die Einrichtung hat Sammlerwert und ist liebevoll zusammengestellt, die Austattung (küche/Bad) war viel mehr als erwartet…

…mit Auto sehr schwer zu finden, das liegt aber an der Stadt und deren Einbahnstrassensystem, ncht am Gastgeber..
