Poppy's Place - Manningham Road

If you're looking for something cheap and close to amenities and Liverpool city, then this is OK, though I've previously stayed at Poppy's Place in "July Road" and that was a better property. So this came as a bit of a disappointment, especially as this cost more than the "July Road." Property would have. However I discovered the "Bakery" on Townsend Road, a 5 minute walk and they are really cheap and taste good.

The pillows weren't good and ended up buying pillows the next day. The court yard, could be really good, if they got someone in to tidy it up.

The house was clean and tidy. The owners communication was very on point, too. Highly recommend if you want to explore Liverpool with Anfield/Everton being a stone throw away.

A really lovely house with all amenities needed to make our stay very comfortable. Met host on Saturday morning she was absolutely lovely and very easy to talk to

The street outside was very noisy, which was fine for us, but wouldnt be ideal for a quiet night away

Clean and great for an overnight stay

A comfortable & well located property, it has everything you need for a short stay. There are excellent bus links into the city, with an outstanding Chinese takaway at the end of the street (New Fung Lok), small general store nearby for bits & bobs.

Poppy's place was spacious, tidy and clean , not far by taxi to the centre of Liverpool and very close to Liverpool football club. Ideal for groups/families also caters for dogs, so our dog Poppy came with us. The price of stay was reasonable. Addressing minor issues would make a big improvement. Good correspondence from Beth.

The backyard needs attention, weeds overgrown, unable to close windows in one bedroom. Toaster not working, poor shower/pressure. Local area made you feel unsafe in the evening. No access to local green space to walk dog. New blinds, rug in front room and new cushions for sofas required to make Poppy's place more homely.
