It is very good place to stay

I stayed at The Emerald Guest House and Villa at Unawatuna, and it was simply wonderful. It's reasonably priced and strategically located just off the main Galle–Matara bus road, so getting around was just a piece of cake. From there, I could travel to Welle Dewalaya, Rumassala, the Japanese Peace Pagoda, Jungle Beach, Unawatuna Beach, and many other beautiful spots without any hassle whatsoever. The place looked exactly like the photos shown by the owner—no surprises at all. My room was nice, clean, and comfortable, with a private bathroom and access to a shared kitchen. The staff were very friendly and helpful, and the owner himself is such a good and kind person. I really enjoyed my stay here, and I’d recommend this place to anyone visiting the area

Very welcoming and showed me my room which was really nice and clean. It's a husband/wife family run business. They were both very friendly and I had a good conversation with Prasad, and will definitely be back.

Location was excellent, vast room , good shower with hot water , lady working there was also very nice. Good for short stay considering the price

Several ants in our bed , the fan wasn’t strong at all and was very hot to sleep. Because breakfast wasn’t included and we paid for it separately we were very disappointed with it. The egg and toast was fine just what we asked for but for that price in Sri Lanka we were given 10 times better everywhere else. Everywhere else a “fruit plate “ is several cut up fruits provided . Here we just got a big chunk of papaya and when we said we don’t like papaya he just smirked.

Everything was good and clean. Good location. Simple but very tasty breakfast made by the owners. The owners were the best, very attentive and kind. Would recommend.

It’s a place to rest the head. Owner was nice. Close to the town. You get what you pay for

Bathroom wasn’t the nicest and no potable water was provided to drink

The hosts were really nice to us and they made a us an exceptional breakfast!!! It was also like 5 mins from the beach with the best waves!

We didn't book the room with ac which was a mistake because even in the off season it can get insanely hot, but that was probably the only flaw.

Property looks good

I won’t prefer this further Coz their wifi service really frustrating
