The Emerald Guest House & Villa

Very friendly staff. Located only a short walk from the beach. Plenty of shops and restaurants nearby. Aircon worked well and the bed was comfy.

Not much to dislike considering the price we paid! There’s a strange smell when you first enter the room but you soon forget about it.

Amazing people to stay with they will cook for you and take very good care of you :) highly recommended

Great value for money. Kind staff. Very clean. Situated only 5 mins walk from the beach with lots of cafes nearby.

There was a little noise from the traffic but it did not disturb me.

Position, kindness

The hosts were really friendly and welcoming. The room was very spacious and comfortable. There was also a little balcony :) We also had the Sri Lankan breakfast which was very delicious! We would definitely recommend staying here!

Spacious and clean rooms. Location was great. Hosts were lovely.

Unfortunately our bed wasn’t comfortable, there was a dip right in the middle of the bed and extremely creeky. Other than that, it was great.

Staff was so nice and helpful. Nice social are with a fridge and some kitchen supplies. Our room had a private door to backyard and the view was really nice from that.

Room became super moist and a bit smelly after first day. Had to wash lot of my clothes afterwards to get did of the smell.
