Mile House Barn Bed & Breakfast

The location was perfect for us as we were attending a function at Rookery Hall less than 5 minutes drive away. The room was large and the bed extremely comfortable. There were quirky aspects to the accommodation such as the porthole windows and the old fashioned furniture which added to the ambience of the place. Clare, the owner, went out of her way to make our stay as perfect. From her personally prepared breakfast which included home made bread and freshly laid eggs from her own chickens to taking my partner to the local Morrisons when we needed something. We would recommend Mile House Barn without any reservations, anybody lucky enough to stay will be treated like royalty.

Absolutely nothing. All you needed and wanted was supplied without hesitation.

Super friendly host, Claire. I was on a charity cycle trip and Claire offered to feed me and wash all my kit. Breakfast was great and again the hospitality was brilliant.

The bed was a little low for me and whilst comfortable it was a little unforgiving and very warm in the room But it was easily resolved the quilt was a a little too heavy for the time of year and as I like to sleep in a very much cooler bed it's more about me than the experience Also the lighting in the bathroom is behind you which made shaving a little difficult

Very clean and comfortable. Great cooked breakfast to get the day off to a good start.

Claire was very welcoming and even gave us a lift into town for dinner
