Brendan went the extra mile and took us to and from The Oak ph in the evening as we arrived by bicycle and taxi separately.

"Very accomodating, considering I had two dogs travelling with me."

Clare was very hospitable and served me a veg breakfast with home made bread which was great! My room was lovely, but with 2 well behaved spaniels with me I would have preferred a ground floor room. Ideally I would have liked to walk in to town, but there was no footpath along the main road from the driveway.

There was nothing I disliked.

Excellent breakfast... The location was ideal as we were attending a wedding party at rookery hall which was only minutes away down the road.. A fabulous bonus was the host Clare gave us a lift to The hall once we had changed... Oh and greeted us with a welcome Cup of tea... Had a very comfy sleep on return..

The only thing that I would recommend is a light on the sign At the end of the drive... So it is easier for the taxi driver to spot.. X

Clare was exceptionally friendly and welcoming, and even gave us a lift so that we might enjoy a walk along the river before going into Nantwich to meet friends.
