Clean, great location, new furniture, great bath, host quick to respond

Very convenient place to drive around the Oxford, to London or Bath. The street is the primary vein to Oxford center from south, bus stops on the street, walking distance to the center of Oxford. Car parking is one of the most amazing features for this apartment. Rooms are big enough and well equipped with necessities. Tesco store is a couple blocks away and works till 11 pm.

Good location with only a short walk into the Centre. All the necessary amenities for a self-catering stay. Grace was a very helpful host, always offering to assist and answer any questions. On site parking.

There could be a little more attention to detail with the cleaning. The property was largely clean but there were cobwebs, could maybe do with a fresh coat of paint in some places, etc. If possible, the need to place a damages deposit should be more prominently stated (eg closer to the top of the listing). Admittedly I had missed this but see that other people noticed this too.

The location of the property is great - next to the bus stop and just a few bus stop ride from Oxford town centre. I could tell that the property has been cleaned prior to the check in, the bedsheets and towels were clean however it is in desperate need of TLC, especially the bathroom floor. The host/property manager Grace is great, prompt to respond and very helpful.

It was a bit of a shock when I had to pay refundable £150 deposit to receive the check in instructions. The only place it was mentioned was the very end of the listing, but to be honest who reads every single bit of the listing when booking an appartment for weekend's stay! I have never come across this whilst booking through booking.com and it was very unpleasant surprise. There is also an option of paying non-refundable deposit of around £30, the choice is yours! The whole place could do with a bit of update - fresh paint, replacing the cracked tiles in the bathroom and proper deep clean. The pictures speak for themselves.
