The property was acceptably clean and also spacious. The interior decoration reflected the photos.

The first problem was we could not access the external door of the property through the automatic security code. That is because the written instructions provided through booking.com were not clear. I contacted the host who did send more information, which made it clear. While we were trying to get in, a neighbour opened the external door. Then neighbour only spoke Hungarian, fortunately one of my guests also speaks Hungarian. She told us she could not let us into the building because of security issues 'since the war' (we were not sure which war she meant, might that have been the Ukrainian war or World War 2? Unclear. I look I might be Ukrainian or Russian even though I am not; and my guests look Jewish, which they are, so it was unpleasant). In Hungarian, the neighbour also said the apartment was very nice and suggested we might therefore steal some towels and soap to give to poor Hungarian neighbours. We made it clear we just wanted to access the building. Inside, as three single travellers we expected three sleeping options as the site advertised two double beds and a sofa bed; and that is why I booked it. The sofa bed was not set up for the third guest. I contacted the host to ask about the arrangements for the sofa bed. She said it was not used as a bed only a sofa. I explained it had been advertised as a sofa bed and this was misrepresentation. I also explained the situation with the neighbour and the host was extremely rude. Next, after 21H while we were having dinner, the host sent a message telling us to leave the apartment. I explained I had already paid for the night's accommodation and we would be staying for that night then leaving. She said we had not paid, which was a complete lie. Finally, the coffee machine was broken and electric sockets were hanging dangerously from the kitchen wall.

Great location, great decor and very stylish! Couldn't be a better location as it's 5 minute walk from the city centre.

The area was a little run down but this is hardly a complaint. Other than that the tip gets a 10/10 from me

The heater was a bit loud

The interior seems pretty cool on the pictures, but that’s all. The location is quite good!

Many things were broken in the apartment, like the classy blue sofa what is unusable, or the shower what sprays water everywhere. But the biggest issue is that the beds were dirty! Hair all over the bed, and the bedsheets were smelly in both beds! I wouldn’t recommend this apartment to anyone!
