Aspen Suite, The Old Bank House

Very comfortable and stylish apartment in centre of Ambleside, metres from restaurants and bus stop, which made exploring the region easy. Also loved that each bedroom had its own bathroom.

I may be techno-challenged but found it very annoying thst we couldn't turn on the TV to watch the news. The only option is to stream through your device, which I managed to accomplish after numerous texts to my son in Australia. Parking is close by, but you need to follow the directions carefully to find the entrance to the carpark.

Location, very well equipped and spotlessly clean.

Was a bit noisy at night till The Lily closed.

The apartment looked brand new and was beautiful. Couldn't fault anything about the apartment at all. The main plus for us was the location - very central. Also our own parking space was a bonus as we used the bus all week so the car didn't move till we went home.

The television was huge but had a lot of problems as the wifi kept going off found that a nuisance.

Very clean and comfortable property. Great space, facilities and location. We really enjoyed our stay at Aspen Suite and highly recommend this property.

The wine glass at the property are too thin and fragile. Accidentally cracked one with the slightest contact with the tap and cut myself on another whilst very very careful drying the extremely thin rim which must have had a sharp point on it.

Great apartment with everything we required for our weekend stay in Ambleside. The apartment was clean and the location was central so we didn't move the car all weekend - the allocated parking space was an added bonus! The property is right in the centre of town so we had read from previous reviews to expect some noise from the surrounding bars but it wasn't a problem for us and it was the weekend! We couldn't find the hairdryer, messaged the contact number and had an immediate response. All in all a great stay and we will definitely return.

Front bedroom was a bit nosey due to the bar across the road. Could do with a couple of small espresso cups to go with the great little coffee machine.
