My wife and I stayed here and we were very excited because the reviews were so good. While the potential of this place is so very high, we were disappointed with the reality of our stay. Our friend was staying with us and had some issues opening the key box and the host was very quick to offer help. We were very impressed with the communication of the property management company and how quick they were to respond to any issues we had. Though you’re right in the middle of the busy streets of Brighton, the house is tucked back enough were there really wasn’t a lot of street noise, at least not what you’d expect. Generally speaking, our stay was okay, but it would have been really nice if we had had two working bathrooms, the washing machine had been working, and if some of the comforts of home would have been better provided like the other aparthotels we’ve stayed in. The potential of this place is high, but unfortunately for us, it fell short.

Upon arrival, the toilet in the main bedroom was clogged and the shower was slow to drain so we had to arrange with the management to have a plumber out to fix the issues, so we only had one working bathroom for half of our stay. There was no detergent and the washer/dryer kept having issues and throwing codes so we were unable to do our laundry, which was one of the main reasons we chose this house. Neither bathroom had any hand soap in the dispensers and the shampoo and conditioner were missing from the bath/shower in the second bathroom. We were informed post-stay that these are not provided due to previous guests having allergies and that we could have requested them. But this was not obvious in the initial communications after booking. There were no paper towels or hand towels in the kitchen and there were only two small towels provided for the two bathrooms, though there were plenty of larger bath towels. There were a pair of dirty socks left on the dresser when we arrived which we found odd. A few of the lights were burnt out in the main bedroom, though it was still very bright and the lights in the adjoining bathroom would occasionally flicker. Aside from the socks, the place was clean and the location is amazing!

Good location, comfortable beds, secluded and quiet, despite being near a lively street. Owners reply quickly, but ultimately issues below were not fixed, and no discount offered (10% off future booking only).

Cleanliness: lots of dirt under sofas, and some things in kitchen, eg oven. Owner offered to send cleaner round, but I missed the message. Rug needs cleaned. General tlc - cracked sink, one shower in poor shape at bottom of tray, paint needing touched up. No hot water in either of bathroom taps (shower and kitchen tap were fine.) TV in a foreign language, and hard to change settings, so couldn't get live TV (possibly needing new remote batteries?) Apartment is very dark (not like the photos); you needed lights on all the time (and there were no lamps in the living room). No bin outside; on leaving you have to take rubbish up the street to a communal bin! Avoiding business rates? A lot of money to pay for no hot water in bathroom taps.

This was an extremely last minute booking for around 8pm the night of arrival and the hosts were amazing!. They immediately contacted me and gave me the location and details of how to get in the property. We arrived to a lovely clean bungalow and a very detailed welcome package sent over on WhatsApp. The hosts were available at all times and were more than happy to help. We had a potential for staying for a few more days than planned and the host were able to tell me the availability straight away. We didn't end up staying any later but we did ask for a late check out and that wasn't an issue either! Thank you and will definitely look at choosing again ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

Locatie in Brighton, vlakbij zee en "The Lanes." Appartement van alle gemekken voorzien.

Toegangspad ernaartoe. Tot twee keer toe (in 1 week) werd de uitgang aan de binnenzijde geblokkeerd door vuilcontainer van buren (broodjeszaak) en moesten wij zelf naar achteren slepen om eruit te komen. tevens stond er (door overvloedige regenval) een grote diepe plas, waar we doorheen moesten waden (gelukkig droegen wij geschikt schoeisel).
