location is brilliant

Not enough towels supplied, no cups or bedding for sofa bed

We ended up staying in a different place.

I first contacted the property about a month before our stay and then a couple of weeks before the stay with no reply, they messaged on the day saying they can meet 2 hours after our original check in, I said well needed to be at a concert and so that wouldn’t work for us, then I got a phone call from the property asking for more money via a bank transfer for a ‘deposit’, they proceeded to ask who was staying, what gender we were and our ages, asked if I had anyone with me under 18, what there relationship was to me and if we had ID with us all. I explained that we were staying the night to go to a concert and that we would only be sleeping there, I explained I was uncomfortable with what they was asking and that it was not stated on the booking policy any of what they were asking, they suggested If I was uncomfortable with the deposit, that we leave our ID’s with them as a deposit instead, I explained I was not comfortable with any of the suggestions and not comfortable with the questions they were asking and that we would be happy for them to come before we check out and they can check for damage then before we leave and would be happy to sort if there was something wrong, they were then even more persistent in asking for more money. I said well we were no longer comfortable staying there as it felt unsafe, they refused to give us a refund for the money already paid for our one night trip. We ended up having to pay to stay somewhere else, because safety is more important. Please do not use this property it is a scam, it is unsafe and will make you feel very uncomfortable.

Le quartier est extrêmement bruyant. Juste en face d'un énorme bar de nuit. Et surtout la salle de bain était immonde ! De la moisissure partout. Des toilettes mal nettoyées.

We booked with very short notice as our previous accommodation let us down. They turned everything around quickly to get us in as soon as possible.
