Very clean apartment with good facilities perfect for our stay- good location 5 mins from pleasure Beach and pier

Loads of issues in the apartment, broken/dangerous unusable kitchen table where one of the legs was on the floor, marks all over pretty much every wall, chipped statue in the Lounge, backs missing of TV remotes, flat battery in TV remote, filthy oven, chipped and marked doors and lots of other issues. Contacted the Sysco support team due to being worried they wouldn’t return the £200 deposit, they confirmed they would look into the issues and that the apartment had a full renovation in June 2024 which was very surprising. They confirmed the types of issues we reported wouldn’t cause our security deposit not to be returned, they said: **************************** In terms of the damage deposit, this is intended for significant damages, such as broken TVs, large repairs, or costly inventory replacements (e.g., sofas, beds). We do not charge guests for normal wear and tear, such as minor scuffs on walls or missing cutlery and glasses. These types of occurrences are inevitable in holiday accommodations and part of the natural use of the property. Nearly all of our bookings across all of our properties have their damage deposits fully refunded, with very few exceptions for significant issues. **************************** Good to know but this is a very different message to the one that gets sent out before the stay asking for a £200 deposit. Anyway, the location is good and the apartment is very big, only 1 bathroom is a bit of a pain when there are 7/8 people.
