Location was mere steps from the Centro ADO station. Didn't even give my suitcase wheels a good workout.

Honestly, can't think of a single thing.

VERY well appointed & thought out, very tasteful. Unusually well equipped kitchen. Micro garden. Attentive host with lots of good resto recommendations. Literally just a few steps from the ADO station. 4 to 6 block walk to edge of Viejo Merida & buses to Progreso. Been on the road for a month, best place I’ve stayed.

Pay-by-the hour hotels close by.

I slept on the couch as we are friends travelling together and had good noise cancelling headphones so street noise not a problem. There was spare sheet in cupboard to facilitate this.

The home is comfortable and in a perfect location to explore the city on foot or to take a bus as the central bus stop is next door.. Veronica, the host, went out of her way with advice and help. She was of great support when I fell ill and even arranged for a doctor to see me in the house.

The water pressure in the sinks is quite low, and if you are a light sleeper, bring earplugs. The traffic is quite noisy.

Location near ado bus, great for the ones who use public transportation. We had a car and succeeded to find parking in the same street. Apartment looks like the pictures, very cozy, AC worked well and has everything you need to get by. They do have hot water, which is great. Owner is accessible and answer fast to messages through WhatsApp, provides clear informations and stay in touch in case you need anything.

Wifi can be a bit slow sometimes. A bit noisy because it’s on a busy street right next to ado bus station. Besides this, there is nothing to complain about the apartment itself.

Inspite of video instructions lock was difficult to operate. The street noise in the evenings is quite annoying
