Pond Memories - National Parks Suite - Paddling Included!

Leslie provided a breakfast sandwich since we’re leaving to Acadia. Convenient location for us. Leslie provided snacks, water, and cookies. Family made sure we had what we needed and more than willing to answer any questions we had. Very gracious hosts.

Bed was comfortable but very high off the ground and for 70 year olds was hard to get into. Maybe stating in description about this would be helpful. Also, there were 2 dogs( very friendly and we are use to dogs) but if a person is allergic to dogs or doesn’t like dogs staring this might be good too. They both came back to our area which wasn’t terrible and there was barking at 6am our first morning there.

Friendly owners. They really tried to make sure toy had all you needed to be comfortable. We felt spoiled.

A little far from Acadia National Park. 45-60 minutes depending on traffic.

The hosts are wonderful people, always ready to help and have a nice chat with you

Clean, comfortable, serene, beautiful

Loved everything

The accommodations were very nice. It’s actually one end of the owner’s home and includes a bedroom, separate sitting room, and private full bath. Everything is very nicely decorated and the tall king size bed is quite comfy with a nice breeze coming off the pond. Surrounding the home are very well maintained gardens, which are a treat for anyone, like me, who loves gardens. The property extends across the private road to the pond side and includes kayaks, and a choice of seating options. It’s beautiful. They call it a “pond”, but for a Michigander it’s an inland lake.

It felt like home. The outside is gorgeous with all the gardens and the lake! It was so peaceful and relaxing.Hospitality was top notch. The yogurt was to die for. Thanks for sharing your culinary skills with us. Thank you ,George and Lesly!

It was a bit off the main road, but how else do you get a bit of heaven?

Quiet, calm secluded home in a pond community with virtually no thru traffic at all. Stunning gardens on their property, numerous fire pits, pond access steps away across the street. The pond is actually a huge lake, huge !!

There was nothing that we did not like. Folks should know that it is only a 15 min ride or so to the next town which has lots of restaurants, a brewery with outdoor seating and live music and shops.
