Modern Off Grid Tiny Home!

Would have liked the view, but could t see it for the tall grass

Having to walk down the trail at night to turn on the water to flush the toilet. The tall grass blocking the view. Not knowing how to get hot water.

Cute and pretty view from the location. Not too far from town but you do need your own vehicle.

Would be better to have dedicated outdoor shower or hot water in the tiny home for showers. Had the basic necessities only. I think for the price could have some nice decor pieces and some nice little extras (large water bottle supplies), or coffee/cookies - something for welcoming guests.

The description of the unit could’ve been more clear about the water situation (you have to turn it on with a timer and it’s not drinkable). You also have to turn on and off the electricity- but there was enough to run the AC through the night!

We enjoyed the entire experience 10/10 and will 100% recommend to others and look forward to returning .

This property is located in an **illegal area that’s not fit for tourists**. It's actually **agricultural land (agland) meant for farming, NOT for tourism**, and the owner knows this but still chooses to rent it out. The owner made us register as farmers just to access the property, claiming it was the only way in, which was never mentioned before we booked. To make it worse, the owner sent all these details about what you needed to do to enter only after the booking was confirmed. Super shady and unacceptable. On top of that, there was no hot water for showers, and the place was disgustingly dirty, with spiders, cockroaches, and geckos inside. If you suffer from **arachnophobia**, this place will be a nightmare. We even **found a bug inside the bed**, which was the last straw. It was obvious that they don’t clean or disinfect the place properly. Additionally, the property is about 2 km away from the main road, which was not mentioned anywhere. The listing on Booking does not provide full and accurate information about the property, which feels misleading. The pod we stayed in was in terrible shape. There was dirt all over the floor under the bed, and it clearly hadn’t been cleaned in months. The fridge smelled horrible, so we couldn’t even store drinks or food. **There’s no mosquito net**, making it impossible to relax without being bothered by insects. The bathroom was filthy, **with hair everywhere**, which made it even more disgusting. It was clear they hadn’t cleaned in ages. On top of everything, they still had the nerve to charge us a $150 cleaning fee, which is ridiculous considering how dirty the place was. They barely had running water, the solar panels were inefficient, and they didn’t even offer breakfast – the price makes no sense. We also reached out to Booking, but they haven’t helped us at all, despite the misleading description and the no-cancellation policy.

Property is amazing, super nice, different from everything and very cozy.

The electrical system still needs some work to work properly but it will get there soon.

Water usage is on timer, and electricity use is limited, no hot water.

It's actually a very nice unique way of lodging, where you are literally off the grid from a water and electricity pov. Nice sunrise.

The only downside is because of the "green house" concept, the bedroom smells humid and moist and you need to allow time for the room to air out after you come back from whatever excursions. There are also lots of bugs, but it's to be expected. The best time to be in the house is early morning.
