Location is perfect but noisy after the bars shut down and early morning for hotel deliveries

Bathroom - horrendous sewage smell in bathroom which permeates around the apartment. No amount of bleach could contain or eradicate it. No grab rail in shower. Shower head needs replaced as water sprays everywhere No water pressure in bidet so no point in having it Needs refurbished Bedroom - light not working and single lamp Beds and mattresses old and need replaced Pillows lumpy and only 3 issued between 2 people Kitchen- at least 30 years old and worktops scabby and tired Living room - sofa ancient and covered with a blanket. Stairwell had uncovered light fittings No maid service,towel or bed change for the 10 day duration Key collection 10 min away not ideal. Lock box would be better

It’s location was it’s only saving grace.

It was very dated, 25 years ago I rented property in Nerja, and this was reminiscent of those times. The crockery was totally mismatched, it looked like it had come from a jumble sale. The kettle was tiny, the microwave ancient,The table and chairs were all of different styles and all very old fashioned. Nothing that a visit to IKEA or similar could not have sorted, but it seemed that everything had come from the charity shop. The bed linen and towels were of a reasonable standard.

The location was excellent for everything.

There are 23 steps to the apartment.the lift doesn't stop on floor 1.the bins are empted at 3 am everyday.the bins go over cobbled stones ok if you are a deep sleeper.The lighting in the communal areas was not working which made it very dangerous at night when leaving and arriving at the apartment.we contacted your staff on many occasions and in fairness they contacted the owner, however,the problem was not resolved until the evening of the final day and not by them. We feel that this situation is not acceptable and that the owner shows no duty of care whatsoever .

The location was amazing A large bright apartment

Lift That’s one of the reasons I booked, it only went to second floor, not the first floor, which I was on. A lot of steps every day

Spacious apt .Location was excellent....No instructions what's so ever....l was waiting for maid to bring clean towels maybe change the bed ...Didn't cook at all so could not comment on kitchen facilities...Good big fridge .

Had to pick keys up 20 mins walk with my case..why where they not in key case outside...l am 70 walk was ridiculous...Also there was a flimsy lock on door l could have pushed open.

Accommodation was very nice but very noisy location if Ur a light sleeper

Being on the balcon has it's draw back Very noisy till late into the night Then u have bin collection very early and cleaning of balcon about 6am

Location was great.

The main problem was being woken up by a pneumatic drill every morning at 7.30am. This was all week, not a great way to start a holiday, this was major work and we should have been informed of the noise level, the property was vibrating. Also the apartment needs modernising, it is basic and could do with an update.

The rooms were excellently placed, a little old perhaps a lick of paint but being right in the square they were right in keeping with everything. It was so well equipped, there was everything you needed in the kitchen and the welcome box was really nice, there was even some washing tablets in case you needed to use machine. Washing up liquid, a squeegie and plenty of towels and bedding, even down to a fly swatter! Comfortable clean beds, there was nothing else we needed to make us comfortable and feel at home, it was a haven of rest once the square grew quiet or we shut the balcony doors. They were excellently cleaned with everything and more you could think of you would need. Plenty of crockery and cuttlery, glasses, pots and pans. Would recommend it to anyone.

We arrived by taxi in the heat of the day after a long early flight but understandably the taxi could not drive onto the square but dropped us off round at car park. We had to walk with cases through to square. We had been to Nerja before so knew the way but if you had been new to area you would have had an awful time finding place. Then we had no idea where the door into the building was, we knew it was above bank but how to get in? We asked in the nearby tapas bar and all he said was above bank which we knew that but no explanation as to where door was. After getting angry with ourselves we eventually discovered the door was just down the street almost opposite the sign for the Irish bar. We go in and see the stairs. We had two very heavy cases to get up, first 9 step stairs, then 7, then another 7. Ooh, a lift. No. It does not stop on 1st floor. However, my poor husband struggled up stairs with the cases and in we got. An explanation giving directions of how to find door and info saying lift not for 1st floor would have proved less stressful. The only other thing that was not nice was the shower curtain. A walk in shower would have been so much nicer but the shower was lovely and hot and powerful but shower curtain spoilt the affect by clinging to your wet skin. Apart from that, no more moans.
