"Relaxing, peaceful and pleasant."

10.0

Fabulous stay at Toad Hall. Location is excellent to explore the east coast of Suffolk. The lodges were immaculate and the individual bathrooms exceeded expectations. We were tucked away in Feather Lodge with a beautiful view of fields and forests. We were a very last minute booking and we were helped to our accommodation by the owner and shown round the facilities. The outdoor kitchen was very well equipped, please note it is a shared facility, which was no bother but if the lodges were fully booked you would have to be friendly peeps to enjoy. The mattress was firm but comfortable. We very much enjoyed our stays

Nothing.

"Simply exceptional"

10.0

Beautifully appointed cabins, extreme attention to detail on all fixtures, fittings and accessories. All of which are high end. Spotlessly clean. Styling akin to soho farmhouse. Set in idyllic countryside, peaceful with a wonderful sunset view across the neighbouring farmer’s field. Owners are incredibly friendly and accommodating. The perfect getaway!

"We will be back!"

Such a special place, lovely owners and amazing views. The lodges showers and kitchen area are clean and beautifully presented.

My husband would have liked a shaving mirror over the basin.

"Truly wonderful holiday experience"

10.0

We had a truly wonderful holiday experience. The location is excellent, the garden is beautiful, and we especially loved watching the sunset over the fields. The facilities are well thought‑out with great attention to detail. The bedding was exceptionally comfortable, and together with the quiet surroundings and fresh air, we enjoyed wonderfully high‑quality sleep. Emma is a warm and attentive host who gave us excellent recommendations. We look forward to returning for another stay and will happily recommend this place to our friends.

"Weather for me wasn’t great, but a good experience and would recommend."

10.0

It is c(gl)amping,so expect trips to the bathroom and kitchen area, but both are excellent with modern up-to-date facilities. The bathrooms are assigned individually with a very good shower, while the kitchen has all that you would need, including kettle, microwave and so on. Bed is comfortable, there is parking and are areas to sit out with views.

"It was great but needs a fridge in the outside kitchen"

The bed was extremely comfy

Going outside to loo at night but that is glamping for you! The shower and loo is private to each lodge so that’s good.

"Overall most enjoyable, great for our needs and brilliant value for money."

9.0

Beautiful countryside location . The lodge was exquisitely furnished and appointed, and the bed was extremely comfortable . We were worried about being cold given the time of year, but were actually comfortably warm!

On arrival, a large group of people who were also staying were congregated in the communal kitchen occupying the entire space and every work surface. They were also playing music from a wireless speaker…Given the fact it was NYE this was probably to be expected! However, our hearts sank a little as we were hoping for a quiet get away and given the proximity of our lodge (closest to the outdoor kitchen) we got the impression this was clearly not going to be the case, despite the onsite curfew regarding noise after 10pm. Luckily , we were proved wrong, and our fellow holiday makers were respectful! A couple of things to consider: The curtains in the lodges are unlined and very thin offering scant privacy which my partner wasn’t keen on given our proximity to the kitchen … We used the bathrobes provided hung from the curtain rail to help overcome this …At night, there’s no outside light on the deck which made it very difficult to see the keyhole for the bathroom adjoining the lodge we were in; And lastly, although there’s a lovely coffee making machine in the lodge, you still have to venture to the outdoor kitchen to utilise the fridge for milk and to make tea…which when the kitchen is overrun with a large party of people , makes you feel like you’re intruding, and was a little uncomfortable…however, the lodges are advertised as self-catered, so to be expected 🤷🏻‍♀️
