Cabins of Mackinac & Lodge

Location was great, staff was friendly, place was pretty clean.

Housekeeping came in unannounced while we were in bed relaxing at 5pm.

Dirty full of spiders and bugs no AC

We were a bit disappointed because the website showed cute log cabins but when we checked in it was a dirty motel room.

Wanted to stay in a cute cabin not dirty motel room with torn up carpet.

Location

When we arrived, the lady told us the room that we wanted wasn’t available. It wasn’t available the day that we booked it, but she gave us a different room which she called better and a step up, but we did not need that kind of room and I was very disappointed that nobody let us know this from day one. Will never be staying here again.

Location. Close enough to walk to downtown, restaurants. Ability to bring pet.

Lots of spider webs in upper areas, windows filthy. Dusty. Beds uncomfortable.

It was cleaned up but not clean. Carpet was damp underneath and room was mucky smelling, not fresh. Furniture was dated but not in a nice eclectic way. Was quiet. Was convenient to everything.

Liked the cabin it was small but cozy. Liked the location and access to pool, sauna. Liked that there was plenty of parking.

There was not enough toilet paper when we arrived. The front porch light was out of order so when we entered at night, it was very dark. The website was difficult to navigate initially and was not sure what the cabin looked like exactly until we arrived.

The room was dirty. The bathroom door kept getting stuck causing my kids to get locked in multiple times.

The porch light was not working when we got to our place at night. There was only one trash can in the bathroom and none in the kitchen area or bedroom area. The cabin was very small. There was only one roll of Tp in the bathroom when we arrived.

Carpets were dirty
