Kingz and Queenz - Negombo

Great hosts who couldn't have done more to help. Lovely house, fantastic weather. Swimming with the gorgeous labrador in the morning. Everyone was so friendly.

Tout était très bien, le lit était juste un peu dur.

We arriveerden zeer vroeg vanaf het vliegveld, ondanks dat werden we erg enthousiast ontvangen door onze host, hij verwelkomde ons met koffie en koekjes, daarnaast kregen we veel tips over restaurants en hebben we onze host zien optreden op een feest. Verder hebben we een mooie tour door Negombo gekregen van tuktuk driver Dillan die ons werd aangeraden door de host (moeder en zoon). Elke ochtend kregen we spontaan koffie en toast aangeboden. Al met al een hele goede start van de vakantie.

Hier word je echt letterlijk met open armen ontvangen door de altijd vrolijke en excentrieke Jason en zijn lieve moeder. Ze regelde vervoer van de luchthaven naar hun gezellige plek. Dit deed Dylan, vriend des huizes met zijn Tuktuk. We werden verwelkomd met koekjes en koffie en leuke verhalen en adviezen. Op 15 minuten wandelen ben je aan het strand. 's Morgens verwend met koffie en toast, zomaar. Ook regelde ze een taxi naar Colombo treinstation. Jason is zo een leuk babbel water en super attent, net zoals zijn kwikke mama. Er zijn ook 2 schatten van hondjes. Het zwembad is heerlijk.

Soms blaffen de hondjes van de buren :(

El dueño fue muy amable en todo momento, cuidadoso con los detalles y muy atento con nosotros. El alojamiento es muy honesto en su calidad/precio. La piscina es un gran extra!

La ubicación obliga a caminar bastante o coger tuktuk. Es ideal para descansar después del aeropuerto o justo para irte.

We arrived at the hotel at near 12am. The host, Jason, waited up for us to greet us with a big smile. He runs the place with his beautiful mother, and they are the most accommodating duo you’ll ever meet. The room itself is basic but has everything you need, but what truly made this stay special was the hosts. They are so charming and went above and beyond to make sure that we were comfortable and could get around seamlessly. The pool was also nice for a mid day cool off. And there is usually only 1 other guest staying at the hotel. Cute pets very friendly, well behaved and affectionate

What a fantastic start to my Sri Lankan adventure! Jason truly goes above and beyond to make sure you’re taken care of. Due to a last-minute change, I ended up landing in Sri Lanka at 3am—check-in wasn’t until 12 hours later. But in true Super Host fashion, Jason had already arranged for Dylan to pick me up from the airport in the middle of the night and let me crash on the couch until my room was ready. Luckily, the previous guests checked out early, and I had my room by 10am! The room was clean, comfortable, and had everything I needed. During my stay, Jason’s lovely mom was visiting—an absolute gem and super helpful. The next day, Dylan took me on a local tour and wow, the man knows his stuff! I learned so much about Negombo and got a real feel for the area. Jason, his mom, and Dylan make the perfect trio. Jason is, without a doubt, a Super Host! Kingz and Queens was Absolutely Fabulous!! I loved it so much, I’m already planning to return for my final days in Sri Lanka. You haven’t seen the last of me, Jason!!

Super friendly owner, he let us keep the room until late because our flight was in the evening that was awesome. We welcomed us with some cookies and lemonade, and gave us some toast for breakfast :) The pool is also super nice to chill
