There was a breakfast pack waiting for us in the fridge with enough food to cover our whole stay, which was a brilliant welcome.

"Lovely welcoming stay."

10.0

Property had loads of space and was very well maintained. Lovely and clean. Lovely view out of kitchen window to green hills. It had everything h you needed for cooking. Butcher welcome in the fridge was a welcome treat and much appreciated. Lots of little home comforts in living room. Good location for links to Buxton centre and getting out walking.

No complaints at all.

"A relaxing stay (August 2024)"

10.0

The house was clean, comfortable and well-equipped. It was a lovely place to relax after a busy day. Communication from the owner was friendly and efficient, with the welcome pack being a nice touch (and was appreciated). It was a good location for our stay and the area was quiet. Overall, fantastic.

"Peaceful & relaxing stay, filled with plenty of local attractions/activities to cater for everyone."

10.0

This property is superb! Very spacious, with everything you could need for your stay. The ‘master’ bedroom offers a super comfortable king size bed, pillows and duvets are great quality. There’s a garage to the rear with a driveway for parking, and the area is very quiet and peaceful ensuring a restful stay. The house itself is spotless, and offers so much room, much more than the pictures suggest. Board games are an added bonus. A lovely butchers pack and pancakes were waiting in the fridge upon our arrival, which is a great touch. Buxton is 10 min drive (£10 approx in taxi), and also on a bus route. We opted to walk, which was a lovely 55 minute stroll into the centre. The property offers the best of both, close enough to the main shops, but also a little further out if you want to head straight up the hills for a walk. When in town, there’s plenty to do, amazing restaurants, bars, cafes, shops, the caves, opera house, Buxton spring tours, comedy nights and lovely scenic walks around the pavilion, gardens and lovely trails further out into the peaks.

Nothing!

"A lovely relaxing stay in an outstanding cottage."

The property was outstanding in every way. The bed was really comfortable and the kitchen well equipped. The welcome pack was lovely.

A tea towel would have been useful but the wasn’t anything to dislike.

"Very good"

The property is on a newly built estate. The house was very clean and bright, and the beds were exceptionally comfortable. Location is quiet and near a local bus route. The instructions on how to find the house were clear and easy to follow. Welcome pack was a lovely touch.
