Peak View - Modern Cottage

Shower, kitchen, lounge and TV.

Front door very hard to lock. Beds soft. Had feel of a house that had not been lived in much with very neutral decor. Main issue for us was location a long way out from Buxton.

Have to say this is one of the best properties I have ever stayed in, where do I start... First of all the pictures do not do the property justice.. the accommodation is huge.. 2 x double rooms with one ensuite.. large kitchen diner and living room. Located just off the old Buxton Rd in a quiet new estate. The host was very helpful and gave a link that lead you right to the front door and instructions for access...Once inside the heating was already on to welcome you and to our surprise they had already left us ingredients for a cooked breakfast. The kitchen has every you need and more, I prefer to cook so was very happy with what was offered and its was nice to chill in the kitchen diner. Locally there is an Aldi nearby which was very helpful as they stay open to ten o'clock at night, so if you do drive up from London you can get provisions there. Have to say there is plenty to do in the area, I was up hiking so only a half hour drive to Hope for Mam Tor. Many thanks to the hosts for a great place to stay. Have to add it felt like an absolute bargain for the space.
