Beach & Harbour View House

The location was fabulous and the views. The apartment could be lovely with a little tender loving care and updating.

Too be honest it could do with updating the bedrooms. But it could be so nice. Better quality linen and for it to be ironed. The wardrobes are full of piles of linen when above the wardrobe is a cupboard which could have stored it. Mattress covers need to be changed if not the mattresses. The carpets were dirty and stained. Carpet shampoo cleaner are so cheap and easy to use plus carpet dry in an hour. In the beach side bedroom is a huge brown leather L shaped sofa too big but much be a extra bed. It is not shown on the booking.com photos. Curtains in that room need to be full length to block the morning sun. The other bed which is the harbour side has a huge massive television which is ridiculous and in the way. The bed and linen need replacing. The bathroom is tiny and with a good clean and seal on the shower door replaced it would be fine. Lounge/ kitchen has the best views but windows were dirty inside and out. Again the carpet on the stairs were stained going to lounge. They are a lot of stairs. Television is difficult to operate so an instruction sheet would be helpful also for cooker, washing and drying. Sofa is a two seater which doesn't go into a bed settee as stated. We had to pull to dining table chairs over to be able to sit together. Fridge and freezer are all iced up. Nothing feels clean. In tumble dryer was lots of washing and the filter was absolutely full and dirty. I cleaned up at the start of our stay and cleaned again when we left. I rang the owner to ask about TV but never got it going in the lounge also the radiator in the beach side bedroom the radiator was full on when we arrived and the only way to turn it off was by turning the boiler off. What a waste of money with a radiator full on with all the windows open. On the stairs case was the electric board the catch was broken, all it needed was a small catch replaced. It's lots of little things that could be sorted and wouldn't take a lot of money or time.

The location

It had not been cleaned the sofa bed had dog hairs on it when you pulled it out. The apartment smelt of dogs. All the towels had bleach marks on it. And skirting boards were filthy. The apartment itself had lovely views. And was in a brilliant location. What it needs is a good clean and towels that haven't got marks all over them. And a decent sofa bed as the one it has is more for a child. And also the tv,s it has in the rooms to work because none of them work

Large tv in lodge needs instructions on how to work 3 remotes and only needed one in the end

It’s right near the beach and shops my daughter loved it. Especially with the fair

Sink in bathroom plug doesn’t pop up so water doesn’t go down

Location was excellent. Lovely views from all windows.

Flat is tired. Mismatch of furniture and decor.Sofa in living area very uncomfortable and small. Cleaning needs improving. Many items need replacing including bed linen, towels, loo brush, bath mat. Popper in washbasin doesn't work. This flat could be special if made more welcoming. Unfortunately couldn't use the parking permit as no spaces available.

Exceeded all expectations, would certainly recommend and hopefully will return soon,very helpful staff also,thsnk you.

This property is in an excellent location with fantastic views!

There are multiple maintenance issues in the property and non working televisions. The property was not cleaned properly before our arrival. It had not been hoovered and the shower was filthy. This was all very unpleasant and unsettling.
