Beach & Harbour View House

Amazing location, lovely hosts when we had an issue. Perfect for the harbour and beach! I love the little extras such as tea and coffee supplies.

We had no heating/hot water on the first day. We communicated with the hosts back and forth and this got repaired late that evening. We had to change the bed before sleeping as it smelt unclean. We attempted to cook a breakfast one day but the equipment was poor quality. The tvs have all the gadgets however they are way too big and we couldn't figure out how to watch standard tv channels. Some parts are rather dirty, such as the highchair. I think the windows should have safety locks especially for the kiddies and considering how high up we are. I attempted to use the tumble dryer for our beach towels however it was filled with laudry and plugged into an extension lead which is not very safe, and the filter was extremely fluffy and water tank full which is also unsafe. In the toilet there was lost of cleaning chemicals such as bleach, i believe these should be out of sight and reach for children!

Location good

Horrible damp smell when open door, filthy stained carpets awful smell. Not deep cleaned for a long time electric plugs daisy chained Host not interested. Had to find alternative accommodation couldn't stay so bad!!!!

It would be easier if the key codes came in a email rather than logging to your account. When a PIN code came with the confirmation email I presumed that was for the door. Slightly confusing.

Location was excellent and we were more than happy with the apartment and thought it was good value for the price we paid for a 7 night stay, free car parking with a parking permit is a big bonus

A lot of stairs to get to the apartment. The apartment could do with a freshen up and more detailed cleaning but I do understand that there is only a 4 hour window for cleaning from the previous occupancy to the new occupancy
