Suites Atlas - Ocean Front

Un lugar tranquilo y confortable, con una bella vista. Nos hospedamos en un estudio, un espacio bien distribuido para 2 personas, la cama esta cómoda.

Roadways need new pavement

Bucerías is around 20Km away from Puerto Vallarata. When I was booking the hotel, I liked the fact that it is outside the main city. The pictures of the rooms were nice. There were limited options due to the end December holidays. It was great that they had fans in the room and dining area. The beds were comfortable. They had all the facilities in the kitchen, which was great. The beach is nice, but lots of rocks in front. So it is better to walk down the beach towards the city and find a better beach. I like the fact that you can walk down the beach to the town in 15 minutes.

No mirror in one of the bathrooms. Crockery in the kitchen is very old and outdated. No dishwasher. I understand that prices do go up at the end of December also. So I ended up paying around $300/night for the 2 bedroom, 2 bathroom unit. Compared to other places I have stayed at in that price range, this had limited facilities. The price and facilities did not match. The chairs in the dining room were too low, compared to the height of the dining table. Some windows did not have the screens. A 1000 peso cash deposit is kept, so be prepared for that also.
