ZANA Lakeview Resort - most scenic lakeside resort

The 7.30am sunrise that glows through the rolling hills, reflecting on the lake is a sight to behold !

As a non vegetarian, it didn't help that apart from breakfast, only vegetarian dishes were available at the restaurant.

It’s awesome view and location . Spacious rooms and facilities. Swimming pool was stunning too ..I went with my 14 family members and we all loved it .:) Everything was perfect 😍

I think that’s hard to find 👍 If someone likes to stay inside the city then it’s lil bit far but if you drive that should be fine .

Good sized room and view of the lake. Quiet place but they had noise due to preparation for a wedding.

They are remote, but do not have much facility or services. No fitness center The staff is not conversant in english. They are a bit disorganized.

Room & Hotel view was awesome. Staff & food also very good.

Location was very far from main city location.

The setting by the lake is stunning, and the property is clean and well-maintained. The landscapes harmonize beautifully with nature, and we appreciated the thoughtful naming of the rooms. The warm atmosphere, enhanced by relaxing music, was inviting.The restaurant staff did their best to ensure good service; however, the management failed miserably in every aspect.

Sharing our experience. During the stay: Pre check in: We received a call from the front desk on the day of our travel, informing us to bring swimwear for the infinity pool. We appreciate the gesture of concern however, shouldn't this information have been provided earlier, rather than on the day of check-in? Check-in: Welcome: Even though we informed the hotel beforehand that we were traveling for our wedding anniversary celebrations , they gave us a room next to the stairs, which lacked privacy. When we requested a room change, we were made to wait for almost an hour. We had hoped for a more elevated reception, something beyond the standard offering of a welcome drink. Room :  The 'Aurther' The Latin names fell short of delivering the experience we anticipated. Layout: The room provided was substandard, featuring a layout that deviated significantly from the expected norms of a hotel room. The door was positioned awkwardly, opening directly onto the bedside, further detracting from the room's overall appeal. The room appeared gloomy and poorly illuminated during the evening hours, lacking sufficient lighting, particularly to reflect adequately through the mirrors. This contributed to an overall sense of dimness and discomfort. Comfort: Despite offering a state-of-the-art view from the private garden area, the seating provided was far below acceptable standards. The chairs were rigid, made of hard plastic, and entirely unsuitable for comfort, diminishing the overall experience. Exteriors: The building's outdoor lights were very bright, making it hard to enjoy the beautiful lake under the stars. The lights acted like mirrors, creating a strong glare that hid the peaceful beauty of the night. Privacy: We saw a hotel staff member walking around in our "private gardens". This goes against basic privacy norms. If a space is sold as PRIVATE, how can someone enter without our consent?

Exceptional location if you’re looking for something a little away from the hustle bustle of the city. The lake view is truly a delight. The property is well maintained and the infinity pool is cherry to top it all. The rooms are spacious and all of them either have a balcony or a private garden overlooking the beautiful lawns and the serene lake surrounded by hills.

The breakfast buffet has a very limited menu and the restaurant is small. They serve only veg meals and there is no other option available in the near vicinity of the hotel. The restaurant menu is way too complicated so that makes ordering cumbersome. The indoor and outdoor activities are limited and are charged. Trust me no one would like to pay additionally to have a game of carrom. A TT and a Foosball table in the common area would be a great addition.
