Too many stairs to manage between the room and reception.

Location

They only care about money. So much so they ruined our entire nights stay that we spent almost £1000 with them over £30. They put my dad on the opposite side of the hotel. I get to see my dad once a year. When we asked to upgrade his room next to ours we were told it would be £50. Upon checking booking.com the price difference between the rooms amounted to £20. When I challenged this I was told that was because I was a genius member of booking.com. I then visited the hotel website while remaining in front of them only to find the same price difference of £20 between the rooms. They then could not give us a straight answer on why they were over doubling the cost. Just such a poor experience. Emailed the hotel directly, never heard back, followed up again and got zero response.

Attractive clean rooms although small. Dinner very good along with the service. Handy for the ferry

Breakfast service was poor. I had to chase our coffee and toast. The self service cooked breakfast was not hot. Very poor. The stairways were a bit bleak although clean

Spa hotel that's falling apart. The Scottish breakfast was the worst I have ever seen or had in my Scottish life. My order was even wrong. Been a waitress. How hard is it two get 2 x full Scottish, one with scrambled egg the 2nd a fried egg. I got a undercooked slimy poached egg. It was the worst. I never usually complain but that is 2 4* hotels that have been just terrible now. The room was tiny. And when we asked for more teabags, sugar & milk for the room we got a side plate with green tea, a couple of milks thrown on & a mixture of random sugars also sweetners. I would never present that to guests in any 4* & 5* even 2* I would take pride in my job & making it a good experience for guests. As for room service joke over priced only good thing was the fresh orange & lemonade, that probably cost a utter fortune.

The location is very beautiful, you even have red deers in the hotel park. The nearby beach is also very beautiful. The suites are very comfortable.

Breakfast was ok but nothing wonderful. The common areas could use a revamp.

-Mooi uitzicht, centrale ligging dicht bij de veerboot -Heerlijk gegeten in het restaurant/bar -elke dag nieuwe flesjes water, koffie en lekkernijen -heerlijk groot bed -klein stukje rijden naar Iona en Tobermory. Met de boot naar Lungo gevaren en de puffins gezien. Fantastisch!!!!!!

The location! Just beautiful. The retro furnishings and comfy beds.

There were bits of other people’s hair in the bathroom but not a dealbreaker.

Wunderbares Hotel, Zimmer sehr schön, Frühstück super, würden wiederkommen

Dafür, dass es sich als Spa deklariert, gibt es wenig Annehmlichkeiten, die inklusive sind, könnte man verbessern + Bademäntel in den Zimmern
