Isle Of Mull Hotel and Spa

The view is spectacular. The grounds are beautiful. We saw a red deer on the property on an evening walk. Our waiter for breakfast and dinner (Joe) was incredibly charming and welcoming.

The property itself is a little dated.

Lunch wasn’t great

The room are very nice and comfortable. We also enjoyed the lobby bar and staff were super friendly and nice. Specially the manager in the bar (can’t remember his name ) but he was excellent with us.

We felt the spa facilities were average and the pool is not great for adults. There were a lot of kids and not a lot of space to chill. Also you need to book way in advance the spa treatment, as the spa is very small. I would suggest the staff to tell you when you book the hotel and include the link in an email . We couldn’t get any treatment as it was full so we were a bit disappointed. We also feel the sauna outside is way too expensive to pay £60 per person . We did the same in another hotel and it was the same price for all the facilities as is a private sauna

Lack of plant-based food options on the menus and on the hot plate at breakfast.

Staff friendly and efficient. Dinner in the dining room was good. Seating areas are pleasant.

As there is no lift it would have been good to have someone to take luggage to and from bedroom.
