The owner was probably the nicest host I've ever dealt with in my years of travel, always available and very detailed with every information and recommendation - one day she even surprised us with free breakfast at a nearby bar. In general the apartment is in a great position outside Ortigia, which can be reached by a 10-15 min walk. The studio was the perfect size for a couple, with all the needed amenities and also a terrace (shared with other apartments). Parking on the street was free and easily available at all times. Absolutely recommended.

Well from our first contact with the host Simona we knew this would be a special place.We received all the information that saved us a lot of time.The flat is close to all that you need. Transport, supermarket, 15-20 mins to Ortigia and also to the archaeological park.Don't be put off by the untidy streets, this suburb is changing fast ,it is quite a safe area.Good security, small courtyard and terrace for use and ample kitchen space to prepare light meals. Very tastefully furnished, to feel really comfortable. Was a pleasure to have such an involved host,but not overpowering. Made our stay a highlight of our travels. Grazi mille Simona.

Great host. Very friendly. The apartment was very clean. Nice terrace for sunbathing and relaxing. Very good location. The main street was a few minutes away. Parking was on the street (free of charge).

the apartment was clean, recently renovated, and the upstairs terrace is the ideal place to enjoy a glass of wine. the host Simona gave us all the information we needed. thank you !

Everything was perfect. Simona and Diego were very helpful throughout the stay. Location is small walk from Ortigia and everything else is close to the apartment. Apartment it self was very cute and cozy, also surprisingly quiet and big balcony on the roof where you could sunbathe.

Since we had long stay it would have been nice if our towels would have been changed at least once. However we understand that if we would have asked from Simona or Diego we would have gotten new towels.

Great location. Everything was within 15 mins walk.. the host, Simona, provided lots of suggestions for food and also places to see.including referral to an excursions group who provided Simona's clients with a good discount of about 20 - 25%. Eg 2 hour boat trip to caves and around the island and coast for 30 euro which is cheaper than others were advertising. The tours had English speaking guides as well. Studio apartment was comfortable for 2 people with a small kitchen being a bonus.parking out front was no trouble for our visit. We would recommend staying here.
