Die Lage ist ein Traum! Wir wurden so herzlich durch den Vermieter Giovanni empfangen. Die Ferienwohnung ist so geschmackvoll ausgestattet, und alles ist sehr sauber und gepflegt. Da hat nichts gefehlt. Der Ausblick von der wundervollen Terrasse ist besonders. Auch wenn man einige Stufen gehen muss, so haben wir die Ruhe von dem eigentlichen Trubel in Positano sehr genossen. Man sollte über Giovanni auf jeden Fall einen Gepäckträger für die Koffer dazu buchen, das vereinfacht es. Wir kommen auf jeden Fall wieder und dann auf jeden Fall in diese tolle Ferienwohnung.

Giovanni is a great host. We enjoyed the stay very much and the possibility to hike il santiero degli Dei. There are regular buses from Positano to Nocelle.

Great location & superb host :)

This was a wonderful escape from the busy town of Positano with incredible views. We experienced Positano like a local. The house is beautifully renovated and had food and snacks ready for us to enjoy. Our host Giovanni was so kind and helpful and went out of his way to help us with a special favor. We are very grateful that we were able to stay in this home.

Everything!! There was nothing we did not like! It was just perfect! A huge thank you to Giovanni who made us feel home! He’s a wonderful host and we really appreciate how he’s doing his job! Amazing!! Such a great, lovely and welcoming place. The location is perfect, it’s quite but it takes you only around 20minutes to Positano etc. The view from the White house is awesome and I really recommend the Restaurant il ritrovo which is 3 bus stops away. Thank you Giovanni you’re an amazing person!

It was spectacular!

Everything about it to the details was wonderful. The views from the property is amazing and all the amenities: bowl of fresh fruits, fresh bread, butter, cheese, cold cuts, eggs, pasta etc all prepared for us to make daily were an impressive touch. Most importantly Gio is a fantastic host! Very warm, informative and helpful. If anything the interactions we had with him, his personal welcome and service was what made the stay unforgettable - felt like you were welcomed at an old friend's house with good wines ready waiting chilled in the fridge! Location wise, great for hikes to keep fit if it's your thing (about 800 steps up to parking lot or 1000 down to Positano, close to Path of The Gods), a couple of really nice restaurants nearby better than most restaurants in Positano.

Parking was tricky and the walk down and up the many steps with luggages was a challenge. However, Gio helped with all that! Weather was not great when we were there with freak rainstorms everyday limiting the activities we could do but we still enjoyed the property.

We were hoping for an outstanding accommodation and was great. Yes, it is far from Positano (20 mins by bus or long walk), but the view and the sunset is unbetable, best outside shower in the world. The bed was very comfortable and with proper blanket (very rare in Italy). The sofa beds for the children were also comfortble and we managed as a family, but a couple would suit the locatin better. Giovanni is very attentive and helpful guide. Due to the off season timing, the parking was not an issue despite 10 mins of nice and fitness walk. It is conveniently located on the Parh of Gods, best to finish in Nocelle and take the bus down to Positano, boat to Amalfi and then bus again. You feel and live like a local and secluded from not always glamorous people at Positano.

2 pair of keys for 4 people would be helpful. The nearby restaurants closed at the end of October so we had to go to antother village or Posiatino each day, but it is not an issue. The drive up the hill can be challenging when passing by other cars or bus, but also ok.

The flat sits above the hustle and bustle of Positano City Centre in the village of Nocelle. Giovanni’s property is beautiful and beautifully maintained. The views are stunning. Giovanni recommended the restaurant Santa Croce just steps from the property which is third generation owned and operated. The food and views were outstanding. “The steps” down to the square offered many spectacular views and a day of welcome exercise. There is a bus back if the trek is too challenging. Giovanni stocked pasta and produce and wine in his well-appointed kitchen and we cooked so we were able to cook and dine-in one evening. There was nothing we needed that Giovanni did not help to provide.

The property is not an easy walk to Positano City Centre…but ultimately, this is what we loved about it!

This was the perfect getaway for my wife and I! We intended to hike a bit of the “path of the gods” in both directions so it’s convenient that the trail is literally outside the front gate! We thoroughly enjoyed the views, a couple fantastic restaurants nearby, the comfortable lodging (with all the amenities) and a wonderful host! Thank you Giovanni!

Parking can be a challenge (ie, somewhere along the road, a few hundred steps up from where the property is)! Fortunately, the stairs and pathway, take you through the quaint, scenic, village of Nocelle,… so this was not a big problem for us!
