It is a very nice property and well located. We reorganize the dinner table from the kitchen to the garden room during our stay to enjoy the view of the garden. The SPA was a nice feature.

Ticks in the garden. Really a bad experience which also took away the use of the garden during the stay.

Very quiet, comfortable in a beautiful lake district location. The property was very well laid out.

The only thing that might have been better was the cold water pressure/rate for the bath that was a bit low/slow.

"Superb cottage in a beautiful setting."

The cottage was charming, spacious, comfortable and immaculate.Lots of attention to detail inside and out.The garden is lovely , well landscaped with lots of different seating areas.Views are stunning and invite further exploration facilitated by lots of different ideas for local walks. (info. provided in the house books and from the static caravan park nearby.)The hot tub ,also immaculate, was hugely popular after wet and dry walks and climbs.We loved the games room where the ingenious table provided football, pool and air hockey.Within easy reach of Ambleside, Windermere and Grizedale forest, all highly recommended!The park also has a well stocked mini-market .Nice welcome pack too! Look forward to returning with more family members.

Nothing except the rain and that just demanded adequate clothing!

The whole thing was excellent. First time to the lakes, and we will consider coming back when we have enough money.

The only thing is that the outside lights at the rear weren’t working at it was very dark outside.

"Beautiful cottage in a peaceful location"

Beautiful cottage which was well equipped for our stay. Everything was super clean when we arrived. Staff were brilliant at check in, and really made us feel welcome. Loved the garden and views, really nice to relax in the hot tub in the evening. The little extras were a lovely touch especially for our dog. Would definitely book again.

Wished we had stayed longer :(
