It’s a fraud.

We stayed at this apartment during the holiday season, and while the location couldn’t be better — central, with great shopping options and beautiful Christmas markets just around the corner — there were several issues that seriously impacted our stay. The Good: • The apartment is spacious, with a dining area that comfortably seats four. • The location is unbeatable for exploring the city.

The Not-So-Good: • Broken Toilet Seat: Despite reporting the issue, it was never fixed during our stay. • Poor Communication: The apartment management’s communication was frustratingly slow and inadequate. Major Problems: • Check-in Issues: When we arrived 1.5 hours after the agreed check-in time, the apartment still hadn’t been cleaned. Despite multiple attempts to contact the management, the cleaning only happened much later — and even then, the previous guests’ trash was still left behind. • Lack of Essentials: The beds weren’t made, there was no toilet paper, and cleaning supplies were thoughtlessly dumped in the hallway. • Cigarette Smell & Misleading Photos: The worst part was the strong smell of cigarette smoke coming from the loud bar directly below the apartment. Despite airing out the space, the second bedroom (which looked much nicer in the listing photos) felt like sleeping in a cold ashtray. Bottom Line: If you can tolerate the cigarette smell, overlook the cleanliness issues, and don’t mind chasing down management for help, you’ll get an apartment with a fantastic central location. But be prepared for a stay that’s far from stress-free.

Bad smell in the apartment that 3 air purifiers (on 24 x7) did not contain. Requested to be moved via booking.com who said they would contact the owner. The owner did not respond and booking.com only advised us to contact the owner directly. Asked booking.com Customer Services 3 times via email to advise what their escalation process is, they have not responded to confirm. Ended up trying to stay outside of the apartment for as long as possible each day and had to sleep with air purifiers on all night, which was uncomfortable due to the nois e and having electricals running all night. The bathroom was not very clean (hair in the shower) The toilet seat was broken and you could barely shower before the bathroom flooded. Very disappointed with the very bad smell issue in the apartment but more so at how unsupportive booking.com has been when there was an issue that affected two children.

Location was great.

Shower flooded entire bathroom each day. You have to supply your own paper towels, soap, shampoo, and toilet paper. Kitchen was not well stocked and no freezer for ice. It would help to state what is supplied and not in the overall description. Noisy late night neighbors.

Perfect area to be

There were 3 Airconditioner, which we had to turn off when we were in the apartment. Too loud. But they were necessary because of the bar next door. At night it was impossible to open the windows till 2 o’clock, because of a strong smell of cigarettes! That was the only bad thing about the place.

Great location and decent size in a traditional style apartment! We liked the communal area and large kitchen including a washing machine.

There is a traditional Danish ‘pub’ downstairs, and as per other reviews, the place is full of cigarette smoke. The property manager has tried very hard to help the situation with air purifiers but it really doesn’t work well and therefore this place should not be a holiday rental in my opinion. The washing machine also smells of mildew and needs a clean. The second bedroom is very small, but is only appropriate for one person (fine for us) however it also has a glass door leading to the kitchen and offering no privacy. The shower is tiny and leaks all over the bathroom floor. The bathroom also fills with cigarette smoke from the courtyard below.
