Axium City Suite, Sleeps 6, Central Location & High-Speed Wi-Fi

We travelled to a petrol station in Birmingham to get keys on the evening of our stay, we hadn't received the correct code to collect keys. I tried to call the hosts, after several attempts managed to get hold of them and they informed us that we couldn't stay at the apartment.

It had a moist and toxic smell the first day, the laundry iron and board was horrible.

The manager stipulated to transfer 110 pounds to his bank account for what he called deposit incase we break something. We didn't break anything, but he never returned the money. After I contacted him several times about the return of the money. He replied one time asking me to write my account number. I sent my account number but neither he return the money nor responded to me again. Please, be aware of this.

Attractive apartment/building. Nice to have coffee pods for Sunday morning. Nice shower Bedding was soft to the touch.

No hairdryer tho said it was included. No bathmat - needed for an partly open ensuite shower. Some Toiletries only included in one bathroom, we were running between the two to use shower gel! Mattress was very springy/bit soft. Late getting key code as although we paid the £100 security deposit by 2.30 on the day (deposit asked for day we arrived) i didn't give the bank details for repayment of same til later. We were moving my son into Uni accommodation so checking emails wasn't top of my priority list. I thought payment of the extra £100 would be enough to get the code (having paid for the room in full in advance) Communal areas: lift floor in terrible state needs completely replacing. Generally a nice clean apartment but tops of headboards need a hoover!
