Was nice and clean. Comfy beds and close to the town

We got moved to a different property due to maintenance. The place we got moved to wasn’t as nice, couldn’t use the balcony and the oven didn’t work. Had maintenance men turn up on the morning of us leaving to fix the oven.

Apt was clean and well equipped...

However our booked premises was changed by host at 12.30 due to maintenance issues . Whilst location wasn't far away, it was in a less salubrious area (loyalist area); and what i would consider a "rough environment " and therefore did not feel comfortable venturing out after dark. Made host aware lock on door was not working and had to be manoeuvred to close and lock. Whilst host said this was upgrade...given images of one originally booked and video of one which we stayed, would not concur. Apt we were sent to was Ormeau road.. 7th floor. Lateness of cancellation occurred whilst we were starting our game of thrones visit, and given the fact full payment had been taken and damage deposit taken, 3 hrs prior to check in, gave us little choice in accepting alternative after a 3hr car journey.

The house was silent, comfortable. It had all amenities which a perfect house should have. Amazingly clean...

Booking.com did not mention at the time of booking that a refundable 250 GBP or non-refundable 35 GBP needs to be deposited as security deposit before getting the check-in information. This was an extra cost for us.

Location was very good. Close to Cathedral Quarter and on the river.

Very loud as it was on the 5th floor looking directly out onto the M3. The weather was very warm, no air conditioning in the apartment so we had to open windows and it was VERY loud. Two other thing were unfortunate: 1. the lockbox for the apartment was about 150-200 meters away from the building. Strange location. 2. When we arrived and went to park our car, there was a car in our spot and we arrived later in the evening so there was plenty of time to have the car removed. We ended up getting changing to a hotel which was MUCH nicer. I feel bad complaining as i rarely do this about places I stay with my wife and family but i want to share my experience and opinions with others. I asked for a refund from the property manager but still have not heard back, just the canned/auto messages.

The location was perfect, we had free parking which was great and the beds were very comfy and the place was very clean. Andrew was also super helpful.

It was a little hard to navigate how to get in, it would have been helpful if the directions were sent 24 hours in advance, without the code to the keys. We didn't really have time to look at the description as we were travelling and it is a bit complicated to get the keys. It is also quite loud as it is near a busy road.
