"NEVER AGAN! Overly complicated building access system."

4.0

The apartment itself was nice and clean. It was very hot and the very small ceiling fans did not do much to help. You needed to open the windows and the apartment faces a very busy highway/freeway so a lot of noise. Luckily we were jetlagged and only was staying for one night. The two bathrooms was handy and so was the washing machine.

We only had a limited time in Belfast, the accommodation said that there is a 24hr manned reception desk, but it is only manned by security not someone that can help you get your keys. We had to park illegally (there is no parking available out the front of the building), we asked around but no one seemed to know if we were even in the right place. We ended up calling someone to see how we get the key, the person that came was very friendly but we had to go down the road and around the corner to a lock box to get a phone to access the parking and the building. Our phone never worked, we did not have time to stuff around we wanted to drop our stuff and then go to the Titanic Experience. We had to wait for someone to come out of the building so we could get back in that evening and then again in the morning when we went out for breakfast, such a pain. We had an early start the next morning, which was difficult as we couldn't get our car out of the building to leave. NEVER AGAIN! It was more of an Air BNB, with an overly complicated phone access. If you have time on your hands and don't mind stuffing around it is ok but when you have just gotten off a plane that was delayed over night and then your first accommodation was a lot of bother, it is very frustrating.

"Meh."

6.0

Good location. Parking included.

No AC. Traffic noise. Hallways in the building smell like smoke. Had some issues with getting in and out of the parking garage and the front door of the building that the owner addressed when we reached out about it. Good response by owner but not a flawless process. Also beware the clothes washing machine is very slow and there is no dryer.

"Beware, bait and switch of high floor booked corner unit to low floor 40 feet from the M2! LOUD!!"

1.0

1) Beware, bait and switch! On arrival we were given a different unit than the high floor corner unit booked / photos on booking.com. We booked a high floor (floor 22-25?) corner unit with a 270 degree view of Belfast. I was happy to pay a premium for the unit we booked knowing it would be high above the M2 highway and train line and the corner units of this high rise have an expansive view / less noise and car exhaust than those closer to the M2. 2) Customer service when we brought this bait and switch to their attention on arrival was non existent. Ignored our phone and messaging for 24 hours. We received a 5th floor unit, one floor above the 8 lane highway and train line. Minimal view and 50-60 decibel loud reading in the unit with windows closed! We would never book this unit or a unit so low facing the M2 so beware of a bait and switch! This is our 80th hotel night in the last year and the only really negative review! This operator needs to learn some customer service lessons!

"The photos and “ultra-luxury” claim are misleading. Exceptionally noisy and unhelpful hosts."

1.0

The apartment was clean and had a modern layout. Was met on arrival with keys an phone system for getting in and out. Short walk to the main attractions in Belfast.

The apartment was not the one shown in the photos. The listing advertised a high-floor unit with panoramic wrap-around windows and city centre views. Instead, we were placed on the 5th floor with a very different layout and view of a very busy road and trainline. Both bedrooms were extremely noisy due to traffic and trains right outside the windows. The noise continued late into the night and resumed early in the morning, making sleep almost impossible. Average 3 hours per night. The apartment management offered no alternative accommodation, showed no concern or care for the noise of false advertising. They facilitated an early check out and we followed instructions but refused any refund. I was traveling with elderly parents and this was a deeply uncomfortable and stressful experience for all of us.

"The worst experience I’ve had. We were let down and abandoned with no help"

1.0

We didn’t get to stay because they cancelled extremely last minute. We had a funeral we were attending and the latest email we got was to say they were looking forward to welcoming us. Awful awful experience please avoid. When we reached out for help they stopped responding at 10 at night and we had nowhere else to stay.

"Good location, apartment ok. App to use to get in and out of property and car park a faff."

5.0

Good Location

Trying to get access to the property was a pain. Promises someone would meet us. That did not happen. It took a phone call to get a response and still no one met us. Eventually was guided over the phone how to get in, very much a pain in the backside process.

"Great location, apartment clean and bright, but not quite the luxury experience promised!"

6.0

Great location - easy walking distance to all the main attractions. The apartment was clean and nicely presented. Comfy beds (although some of the pillows had seen better days!) Easy to contact owner if any issues. Great little bolt hole to explore the city.

First thing to note is that clearly they have multiple apartments in the building and the photos are representative of what you might get not the apartment you will actually get! For example the apartment we were allocated didn't have dual aspect windows in the bedrooms like in the pictures. Being on the 5th floor we also didn't benefit from the stunning views of higher up the tower! Did have a nice view over the river but the motorway runs virtually parallel making it both the major view and also pretty noisy even at night (bring ear plugs!). We had some issues with hot water - upon arrival we were advised to boost hot water for a party of 4 or more. As a party of 3 we therefore didn't think it would be necessary. However 10 hours after taking morning showers there wasn't a single drop of hot water until we boosted and waited 30 mins for water to heat up (annoying because if we'd known this wouldn't have been a problem!) Also, the advertisment says £200 refundable deposit. In reality it's a £250 refundable deposit plus a £5 fee which felt a bit cheeky! Also a bizarre system for opening the main building door which includes needing to borrow (and then carry round with you at all times) a smartphone (you can't use your own!). The building itself looks luxurious on the surface but in reality has seen better days. We paid £120 a night (I think 40% off) and for that price it was more than adequate. But I think I'd have been disappointed if I'd have paid the full price.
