"Overall lovely would stay again..didnt get to use the patio due to the weather."

10.0

Loved our stay, we had a late check-in due to travel delays but host was available for help via mobile despite the late hour which we appreciated. Home was clean, well stocked with towels and added extras eg, toiletries. Instructions were clear to follow as we stayed in comfort during our short stay in Sheffield. Close to medow interchange and medow shopping centre, even has a trail close by connecting you to both if you have the time. Neighbours were quiet and the area was safe. Highly recommended and the host was lovely and accomadating. Our family would stay again!!

Nothing i didnt like, home was beautifully decorated. Very well kept property.

"Not an enjoyable/relaxing stay & not worth a penny."

1.0

Nothing

There was a bad smell when you get in the property. sofa was in a very bad condition..feather was coming out from the cushion pillows. Bathroom needs a full upgrade, wooden toilet seat was very loose. Kitchen utensils were dirty to use, fridge is so old, you have to push hard for the fridge door to close it, stairs going to the bedrooms were unsafe, one of the plugs in the second bedroom was not very safe to use. The whole garden area is not advisable/safe to use-wooden decking was so old some of the deckings has got some holes. Its not a customer friendly especially for disabled or elederly guest- entrance stairs are too steep ( not a wheelchair user friendly). Overall, I would not recommend the property, pictures are completely opposite from what it describes about the property.

The interer design amazing. evething all you need facilities. Parking no problem you can even block the entrance for safer nights. The man cave cozy out door area perfect. Supermarket, shops not far.

For me coz i have mobility issues and big person and my grandma. The steps to go up and down are nerrow and the bath at the 2nd floor was not easy to get in and out. The ground floor toilet not confrontabale narrow too.

"Safety concerns"

4.0

It was good for location and bedrooms were ok

Unfortunately the pictures on the website do not match to what you see when your in the house. There are certain things like smells of old cigarettes which are covered by overpowing wall plug fresheners. The outside decking is appauling and is not safe whatsoever for children. My child trip over the decking twice and thankfully no injuries but its definitely a safety hazard and needs replacing. The kitchen sink also had no plug for washing up which made things very difficult as no dishwasher. Not sure if i would recommend to other families unless the safety hazards were fixed.

"Absolutely disgusting and smelly."

1.0

Nothing to like.

Upon arrival, we were immediately met with an unpleasant smell in the living and dining area, which was far from welcoming. Unfortunately, this was only the beginning of a series of issues with the property. The sofa was noticeably worn and, more concerningly, after sitting on it, the children developed bite marks. We avoided using it from that point on and relied mostly on the dining chairs, which themselves had visible stains and were not in a suitable condition for comfortable use. One of the bedsheets had what appeared to be blood stains, and throughout our stay, we encountered a number of bugs — particularly in the bedrooms facing the garden. The garden decking was in poor condition and generally unkempt, with broken plant pots, mould, and a buildup of dirt. This made it unsafe for the children to play or spend any time outside. Inside the property, cleanliness was also an issue. There was a significant amount of dust, especially around the fireplace and in the bathroom. A blocked gutter caused a persistent, unpleasant smell that had clearly permeated the property, lingering in the soft furnishings. When the children sat on the living room floor, they ended up covered in animal hair — it was apparent the area hadn’t been hoovered in some time. Overall, the condition and cleanliness of the property fell well below expectations and did not reflect the presentation in the listing photos. This week was particularly important to us, as it coincided with a family wedding. Instead of enjoying a memorable and joyful time together, we found ourselves travelling back and forth between London and Sheffield just to manage the situation. The state of the accommodation caused significant inconvenience and stress during what should have been a celebratory occasion.
