"Idyllic place for a holiday"

10.0

Lesley was super helpful and gave us lots of useful information. She was very friendly and made us feel so welcome. The accommodation provided everything we needed, as well as lots of thoughtful extras like a bottle of delicious wine and homemade jam. The beds were very comfortable, the towels were soft and the kitchen well-equipped. The view was stunning, and the area was just beautiful. We enjoyed sitting outside in the sunshine and watching the birds on the water. We wish we could have stayed longer and were sad to leave - we highly recommend this property for a very special holiday.

Really can't think of anything at all

"Amazing rustic cottage!"

9.0

Live the rustic vibes of this place! It’s clean, very comfortable and homey, lots of books for boom lovers!! Has a cute little sun room the common area has a fire place. Host left us a delicious apple pie too!

The place is in a beautiful location and it’s easy to find, but we got there very late and there are no lights on the street. It wasn’t an issue for me but someone that’s not use to the tight streets of ireland might have a bit of a struggle driving to it at night. Day driving will not be an issue.

"Time to unwind"

9.0

Very comfortable accommodation. Our hostess Lesley was so welcoming giving useful tips of where to go. She went out of her way providing Lemsip for our colds,a beautiful loaf of Irish brown bread and equally delicious home made blackberry jam. A lovely space to unwind!

"Lovely well worth a visit"

10.0

Lovely self contained apartment with everything you needed. Lesley was very generous making sure that we had the basics, tea, coffee, milk and home made bread and a lovely treat a lovely apple pie and cream - unexpected surprise but very welcome.

Couldn’t get telly to work on Netflix however this was not a negative as it was good to have quality time to relax

"Exceptional - will return if we can"

10.0

House / location was exceptional. Even high winds and rain during our stay did not dampen our spirits. Host, Lesley, met us and gave us a lovely welcome, and some gifts of bread and apple pie, and homemade jam. Good walking opportunities on the immediate area - stunning environment.

Hourly bus into Galway - not a problem - part of the holiday!

"We felt very relaxed, comfortable, & at home."

10.0

The breakfast was excellent. Lesley cooked us sausage & potato cakes. She met us at our car to show us the apartment, gave us a warm welcome, & gave us the keys. The apartment is very well appointed with two bathrooms & two bedrooms. The kitchen has everything you need to cook your own meals. The house overlooks a backyard with a sitting area that is warm in the sun. The living room has an inset electric fireplace with a comfortable couch & plenty of books. The apartment is warm, attractive, & cozy. My son & I were happy to be there.

Our stay was very enjoyable. The house is located in a rural setting that can be quite tricky to navigate to. Use the GPS coordinates to find the location & call Lesley if you need help.

- The area is close to lots of amenities. There are great walkways and beautiful beaches. - The views are spectacular from the house's location and there is something particularly fresh about the air. - Lesley herself is so pleasant to communicate with, everything was so relaxed and easy going. We got offered to stay an extra night at the end of our trip and got a chance to get away on a date without our children which wouldn't have been possible without Leslie's offer to babysit. - There are other attractions such as the Connemara national park and the city is not far away too. - This was the perfect getaway to mark the end of our Summer, Lesley made us feel right at home and she had everything facilitated to us and our families needs.

Nothing I can think of.

Very nice comfy house, just perfect for four with the two bathrooms. Well equipped kitchen, beatiful surroundings and just 5 mins from the ferry to the Aran islands. Would recommend!

Shame about the missing bath tub plug, as it was cold would have been great to enjoy a hot bath before bed, but the showers work beautifully, so not an issue.
