Curlews Rest - Gateway to the Aran Islands

Fantastic house in a fantastic location. The accommodation had everything we could ask for and more. Would recommend to anyone who wants peace and quiet with comfort and marvelous scenery

Lovely peaceful place to stay, beautiful view

The apartment is in a beautiful landscape. It is extremely peaceful and relaxing there. We had a wonderful time and did not want to leave! The apartment is well equipped, it feels like a real home and not just a holiday apartment. Good beds, the water pressure in the showers was good, too. The host is very nice. Shops and nice beaches are in driving distance, just a few minutes away. You can go for nice walks from the apartment. I can recommend this to everyone who wants to relax in beautiful surroundings, without other tourists. Great!

Everything was great!

Hostess Lesley was great went the extra mile to make me feel comfortable and help with local issues. The pet animals were friendly too. The view to the shore was spectacular. My highest recommendation.

We loved the quiet area around the house. Host Lesley was very friendly and easy going. Very relaxed atmosphere.

No wardrobe in main bedroom, but we weren’t staying long so it was ok for us.

Lesley was most accommodating. The house is comfortable clean and has everything you need. It is situated just minutes from Rossaveal Harbour. There are plenty of books and games. We got taxi to carraroe for dinner and drinks. A lovely stay overall and even had a sea swim before we left on a nearby sheltered sandy beach.

I booked this 6 week long work related stay for a colleague so do not have first hand experience of the property but Lesley made the booking process and various changes effortless, she could not have been more helpful.
