Clean, comfortable and spacious. Excellent views. Great to have washer and dryer.

Flies, but thankfully had swatters. Couldn’t find sugar.

The location and view were spectacular. A very spacious and modern place. We went to the city a couple of times. Went whale watching and took our granddaughters ride Icelandic ponies. The place is very spacious. Great kitchen, comfortable beds, modern bathrooms. We really enjoyed our stay here.

Spacious, a lot of bedroom for a big family or multi families.

A lot of flies in the house when we arrived, it was very annoying. No essential items like salt(we had to rush to near grocery store to grab one) , shampoo , body wash etc.

The property is in a good location and is modern, which are its only positives.

Unfortunately, our overall experience was quite disappointing, especially given the premium price (nearly $1800 for 2 nights). 1) Cleanliness was lacking: the dishwasher still had dirty utensils when we arrived, which was not what we expected. 2) The house layout is not suitable for families or groups. It lacks a proper living room and only has a dining table with a small corner for people to sit, making it feel more suited for backpackers renting individual rooms rather than a family renting the entire house. 3) Basic amenities were missing. No shower gel or shampoo in the bathrooms, which was surprising for a property at this price point. The kitchen lacked basic essentials like salt and oil, which made it hard to prepare meals. 4) The host was rude and dismissive when I raised concerns about the missing kitchen essentials, arguing instead of helping, so I decided it was not worth contacting him further. Overall, for the price charged, this property falls short on comfort, service, and basic amenities. I would not recommend it for families or groups looking for a comfortable stay.

Great house for a large group/big family in an amazing location with a wonderful view over Eyjafjordur/Akureyri.

Some minor things need attention.

The house does look a bit worn out on the outside but is completely renovated inside (probably 2-3 years ago). Enough kitchen utensils but some pots could/should be bigger. Comfy beds. Clean sheets.

Dust on some areas that you usually don't clean regulary (smoke alarms, some nooks, etc)

The house is spacious for 8 of us and exactly like the picture in Booking.com. The view is amazing and the environment is so relaxing. Although the house appearance is a bit old but inside is clean and modern.
