JK's The Trout Stream

Very good location. Good hospitality. Friendly staff. Good and spacious rooms with warmer. Delicious food. Backup generator. Stunning view of the snow-covered peak is something unforgettable. Provision for camp fire and outdoor dining but at extra cost. On the whole the property is well worth the money.

Wash rooms could have been cleaned better. Warmer doesn't work on generator. Could be a problem in peak winters. Food takes time for preparation. Hence, advance order is required to be given, but this was not told by the coordinator. Couldn't see any trout fish in the stream. The stream also requires maintenance

The caretaker was honest to inform that the facilities are not as mentioned at the time of booking.

In extreme cold, they switch off the heaters around 2 AM (night) and on back again at 7:30 AM. The caretaker was honest enough to inform that it's the instructions from his bosses. It was life threatening that heaters are switched off and you don't have anyone you can reach out to at late night.

It was awesome to stay at this property, We enjoyed catching Trout fish and in the evening we have the fish fry, The service was awesome, the cook, management everyone was so friendly and helpful. Hospitality was great. Rooms and washroom with running hot water 24/7. Overall it was a mind blowing experience.

Off beat location Warm Caretaker and a wonderful host Roohi was very helpful and organised everything to perfection I’ll recommend the property to friends and colleagues for future

The approach road needs a bit of work but I guess harsh winter and the snow had a role to play as I went during winters

Indoor it’s quite neat and clean. Rooms and bedrooms are well stacked with every day needs. Kitchen is good.

Outdoors was not very appealing. Maybe because of winters but again there was lot of littering .
