"Incredible hotel with caring staff"

10.0

Incredible staff, cosy casita with amazing view on the valley. This is a gem of relaxation and comfort. I highly recommend to go for their activities which provide utmost care and service in incredible settings.

There is currently road works which double the length of journey from Arequipa to the hotel. It is unfortunate for the hotel and can really impact anyone visiting. These works should be done by feb 2025

"Absolutely recommendable, amazing experience"

10.0

The hotel is in a secluded area in the Colca Canyon, very peaceful and with stunning views of the mountains. The casitas are small villas, each with a private exterior hot tub, tastefully decorated and fully comfortable. The valley-view casitas offer more privacy than garden-view. The staff is very cordial and efficient, always taking care of guests (e.g., we needed oxygen and they provided it promptly). We stayed 4 nights and it was perfect to relax, disconnect and enjoy the property.

Everything was on point. But be mindful of the pool: it is not temperated, thus the water will be cold(ish). However, on a sunny day at noon it's refreshing.

"Very nice place to stay, if you are rich enough :))"

8.0

Stunning location and beautiful room design, cute lamas, that you are allowed to feed, good breakfast, and good (European priced, but worth it) restaurant itself (we had lunch), real fireplace in casita, hot bath outside with a beautiful view; Oxygen mask is offered at lobby, if you have altitude sickness. People, who work here, are doing their best!

It was really expensive for us, but worth to try. Would be nice to add some more lower lights in casita, not to switch the corner lights in the evening, for example lights in the tea zone, for more coziness. Would be also nice to be aware in advance that sauna closes at 17:30 and needs 4 hours to prepare, so if you stay for one night, ask to prepare it before you check in. Anyway — hot bath was enough for us.
