Captain's garden B'nB

We liked everything, what a building just for 4 couples. Must have been designed to be a hotel at one time but the materials used far exceeds the quality of a hotel as the wooden floors were highly polished, the kitchen area was also high quaility.

so this info is really for those whom would be bothered by this, this place is of an exceptionally high standard and is very clean, but here in lies the problem for traveling business people, due to the high standard we were asked to take off our shoes at the door, so as not to damage the floor and make the place dirty, which is not a problem if its your home, but when you are traveling for business and you are in and out often this becomes a real nightmare, the bedrooms are tight to move around in, but do able there is no aircon, break fast is not up to scratch

Quiet rural location, park like grounds, beautiful lodge.

Lovely property and very spacious. Quiet and relaxing. Breakfast was laid out next day and has everything we needed.

Our hosts were lovely and made us feel welcome.the facilities were amazing too. It was a very comfortable stay

We don't know who the Captain is, and we never saw a garden, but this place definitely rocks! Set back along from the highway down a long dirt lane, this B'nB has the decor and ambiance of an elegant English estate. It has lovely, large shared sitting and dining rooms. Our bedroom and private bathroom were large, meticulously clean and comfortable. Free laundry was available. In the morning, the self-serve breakfast was an cornucopia of delicious offerings. When requested, the owners were available and helpful. We had to drag ourselves away in the morning. Good value. Highly recommended.

No dislikes come to mind.
