Coco Bliss - Ahangama

Max 5 min walk to Kabbalana beach, it’s located on the main road. Extremely friendly hosts, Dilan and Thileni felt as our Sri Lankan mum and dad, helping wherever they could: flexible breakfast times, scooter rental, taxi services and great tasty home cooked food! Thanks for a lovely stay.

A larger cabinet or clothes rack in the room would’ve been ideal to store some items since we stayed for a couple of nights.

Coco Bliss is blissfull. Dilan and his family are great hosts, friendly, welcoming and helpful. They helped us figure out which bus to get along to Galle. The room (and the whole place) is spotlessly clean. The bed is comfy, the shower hot, and the breakfast delicious. We are already thinking about coming back.

This stay was perfect! We booked 4 nights initially and ended up staying for 2 more. The family is amazing! So friendly and welcoming, we felt right at home. They make amazing and also very varied breakfast and if you stay there please ask for some rice and curry. It tastes amazing and you won't find better food than here anywhere around. The family also arranged some surfing lessons, gave information about other activities to us and looked out for us. It is the best stay we had in SriLanka and we are sad we have to leave now. We are already thinking of coming back :) The rooms are clean and welcoming. The dog Tiny and the turtle make this stay even better.

We have found it at the end of our trip if not we will stay here for weeks. Family is incredibly helpful, and they are going to make you life easier. Also, ask them to have lunch or dinner with them as it's delicious (they don't promote it enough, other guest told us about it :) Location is second line from the beach and it also has restaurants around the area (5 minutes by walk). Rooms are big enough with AC, and there are common areas in the building. As other guests, I see this place ideal to stay long journeys. Also if you practice surfing there are nice spots around the area

A wardrobe would be helpful and for an hour we did not have water but the owner took care very quickly so no major issues. Just keep a good communication with the family to enjoy better your time in Sri Lanka

The most amazing homestay in Sri Lanka! The rooms have everything you need to make your stay comfortable. However, the hosts are what will make your time memorable. They will do anything for you and are the sweetest people to be around. Would 100% recommend.

Coco Bliss is in a fantastic location right in Ahangama, with the best surf spots right in front of the house. The owner is super nice and takes care of everything you need from scooter rental to transport or tips for the region. It was a great experience and i can recommend the place if you looking for a nice place to stay!
