Staff were nice

I rarely leave negative reviews, but our stay at Summit Grand Resort & Spa was genuinely one of the worst hotel experiences I’ve had, especially given what we paid for a Deluxe room. First, the room was dirty upon arrival — not just slightly untidy, but the toilet looked and smelled like it hadn’t been cleaned in weeks. That’s simply unacceptable at any price point. The “Deluxe view” room was a joke. The shade was broken and, once we finally got a partial fix after asking TWICE, we were left staring directly at an apartment building. There was no view whatsoever. False advertising at its finest. The jacuzzi/hot tub filled with a tiny bit of hot water before switching entirely to cold — completely unusable. The hairdryer cut out after about a minute of use every single time. The shower had barely any water pressure, making it a frustrating experience every morning. I understand standards can vary in different regions, but we paid premium prices and expected premium standards. These are basic hygiene and functionality issues that have nothing to do with regional differences. The only saving grace was the staff, who were genuinely kind and friendly — hence the 1 star instead of zero. Management, however, has a lot of work to do. Would not return and would not recommend.

We stayed for 10 days in this hotel. Our room (family duplex) was very spacious with a balcony and a beautiful view over the valley. The beds are one of the best beds we ever had. 4 bottles of water every day was a treat. Large bathroom. Only the toilet seat was too high. The food in the restaurant was mediocre and breakfast was quite poor with little options and mostly cold.

Great location with fantastic views over the valley. Ideal for morning tea or a quiet evening on the terrace.

The view alone is worth staying here. Clear skies, distant mountains, and peaceful vibes all around.
