Villa Alba - Ahangama

Très bel hôtel avec un nombre de chambres limités, une vue depuis les chambres splendides sur les rizières. Nous avez beaucoup apprécié l’ambiance et la décoration du lieu.

Les prix (indiqué en dollars) dans l’ensemble sont un peu chers pour tout ce qui est restauration, spa, etc.

Incredible location and property with amazing views of rice terraces from pool and all rooms, we stayed in the king room which was simply stunning (bathroom, views, amenities..), staff was extremely friendly and helpful , one of the best small hotels we have stayed in - 100% recommendation would definitely stay here again if I get the chance

We simply loved it! Top place to stay peacefully in Sri Lanka with a beautiful design. Villa Alba is super clean, offers quietness and relaxing time. Also delicious food, nice service! Special thanks to the great team, especially to Kalanan and Chef Kristan!

Excellent place!

Located away from the madness of Ahangama. Standards were above average within Sri Lanka. Tastefully built and furnished in typical Sri Lankan style. The view is spectacular. The nature - monkies and birds. The open bathroom was the second I had experienced - this one being far more superior. Food was good.

Only ONE staff member that spoke relatively good English. Only saw the manager once during 3 day stay. Whilst the property appeared clean when you took a proper look it did require attention, appreciate the kitchen and seating areas are open to the environment but these then should be dusted and cleaned everyday. The lamps were lovely and of a Conran style but heck where the white lampshade filthy!! Although I did find throughout my month travel around Sri Lanka this is more cultural than anything. I was not impressed that they charged a 3% credit card fee which WAS NOT stated on Booking.com. I had to stand my ground as a female solo traveller to have this removed from my bill. Feel for the prices being charged, mini bar charges, food charges, hotel tuk tuk charges that they do not align with the extremely low cost of living in Sri Lanka. I know this is a business but just felt I was being ripped off.

Our stay at Villa Alba was great! We loved the spacious rooms with beautiful views of nature. Being in the middle of the rice fields made it the perfect place to find peace and relaxation. We especially loved the concept of the living room and open kitchen, which made the space feel very cozy and relaxed. The breakfast was also great, and the staff were very friendly. Thank you!
