Villa Alba - Ahangama

Paradis. Chambre magnifique, l’un des plus beaux établissements que j’ai pu visiter durant mon séjour, coupe de tout. Personnel très sympathique et accueillant, nourriture excellente !

The place is amazing in a great location (approx 10’ drive from the beach). The room has great view and amenities. The most important though is the staff - super friendly and always willing to help! Absolutely recommended!

Absolutely wonderful stay – we would definitely come back! Unfortunately, we only stayed one night at Villa Alba, but it was truly amazing. The property is very stylish and beautifully located in the middle of rice fields, offering a unique and peaceful atmosphere. We could observe local wildlife, including lizards, which made the experience even more special. The pool is stunning, and the rooms are tastefully designed with a spacious bathroom and a very large, comfortable bed. The staff was extremely friendly, warm, and attentive. Highly recommended!

The hot water are based on geyser which means you need to wait between showers of all family members

This place is wonderful. Hidden away among scenic paddy fields in the rural fringes of Ahangama, this was one of the best places we stayed in Sri Lanka! From the moment we arrived to the morning we left, 4 days later, we were in a small slice of heaven. This hotel has been so very thoughtfully designed and equipped - and that shows up everywhere you look. From the oil incense burners infusing your room when you arrive, to the nuanced decor, the so-inviting pool, the views from the rooms - feeling intimately exclusive to you and so stunning - and the wonderfully prepared, individualised breakfasts. The staff were so polite, friendly and helpful (like so many people in this country!). This place is a world apart, and yet pure Sri Lankan excellence. I did not want to leave. Ever.
