Imperial Suites Heart Of Margate! sleeps 6

Obviously the location is super convenient and the views are amazing. The beds are reasonably comfortable. There was enough toilet paper, which isn’t always a given!

We stayed in July during a warm spell. Sadly our stay was pretty intolerable due to the temperature of the flat, meaning we had to have the windows open and endure the very loud noise from downstairs. Even with the windows shut, you cannot sleep through the noise. There are some fans but they made very little difference. As other reviews mention, the curtains are transparent and block out no light. The place clean-ish and there are is some basic cooking and cleaning stuff (but no hair drier), however it’s quite clear that the demand in margate is so high that you don’t have to make much effort to charge very high prices. I would say they the noise and lack of proper curtains make this a very difficult place to stay and I do hope that there is some response to the reviews.

Uncomfortable furniture in lounge. Pub noise from below until 1am. Inadequate curtains in bedrooms.

Fab place, great host and location! Above a bar. We defo stay again. Hoping book next year!

Nothing not to like! Large window with sea view so hard to block the light!

Could do with proper curtains in the bedrooms as they were very sheer, pretty much just net curtains and didn't provide any privacy and didn't block out any light.
