We really enjoyed the location. It is convenient with a view of the water across the street. The unique design of the shipping container house was a pleasant surprise. The bedrooms are both a good size with lovely bathrooms each. Amenities were provided, and the kitchen and living space are open and designed for use. Providing a laundry area was exceptional! When you are traveling by car and hiking quite a bit, you need to wash clothes. Woo hoo!

The kitchen needs mixing bowls for cooking. Other than that, I have no suggestions for improvement. Towels and plenty of extra blankets are provided.

"Beautiful family stay with a view"

Great location close to everything we wanted to do in Homer. This beautiful, spotless house comfortably slept a family of five - very comfortable beds and plenty of linens and blankets. Great kitchen for cooking and plenty of seating. The host was wonderful and gave us local tips. The house is comprised of repurposed shipping containers and was expertly designed by the host with a deck viewing the water and mountains. We saw a few moose passing through the property. One of my favorite places we’ve stayed.
