Great location, modern, clean, spacious brand-new rental, super comfortable bed and bedding. Our host was communicative and tried to help.

The house is not adequately insulated for Alaska in winter. A brand new rental and the owner was currently not in state for the winter. There are 2 small gas heaters that do their best, but cranked up to 80 degrees during our 3 day stay the temperature warmed up to about 60 in the living room/kitchen. We got a small space heater from the property manager, which helped a little. The water pipe exiting one of the showers was frozen, thus unusable. Better insulation would fix the problem, and perhaps another gas heater in the 2nd bedroom and have a couple of small electric space heaters in the unit. Other than that, a few wine glasses and items for the kitchen would make it even nicer.
